✨The night we met Wyatt✨ Wyatt joined us November 30, at home. He just narrowly avoided a December birthday by being born at 11:13pm. Already a courteous little guy, he held out until Mom recovered from a nasty flu and on his chosen birthday even waited until big brother went to bed and the Oilers game finished (you’re welcome, Dad!), but then he came fast and furious. He was born 8lbs and is absolutely perfect. Rowen came downstairs a little after midnight to meet his new brother and probably thought he was dreaming! Mom has recovered well, and the whole family is excited about the new addition, just trying to manage coinciding toddler and newborn sleep schedules. Big Brother Rowen is already trying to share his books and toys with his brother, learning to share attention, and wants to hold baby as much as he’s allowed. Wyatt is doing well - he loves sleeping on Mom, Dad and Grandma, dislikes diaper changes, and we think is relieved by the quiet when his big brother goes off to “school.” Grandma was a big help staying with us for the first few weeks and Babcia and Dziadek kept our fridge and diaper stash well stocked. Thank you to everyone for the well wishes, gifts and takeout! We may be short on sleep but we’ve certainly been well fed and feeling the love for our little family of four ☺️💕
