Hello to all of you. As you all know , I have in the past refrained from speaking to the media, as I’m a firm believer that I should focus on my job and protect professional relations. The recent events have forced me to change my stance, as I believe the facts surrounding my termination of contract with Lechia is deserving of an explanation. Yesterday was my last day at the club. With the support of my legal team, I have decided to stand for my rights as a professional player. For very significant period of time, I was not paid my salary. Most importantly, I was not allowed to train and play with my colleagues, although I was fully able to do so. I am medically fit and was passed as such by the club itself. During this period, many lies were spread and written about me. I will let the future set the record straight and will not comment any further. I was subject to a very difficult time and was working harder than ever to be back on the pitch in good shape. I have nothing to hide, my behaviour was always professional until the very last day as a proud player of this club. Words are insufficient to thank Lechia Gdansk fans and the city of Gdansk for the support and the behaviour you have had with me and my family. Today I bid you all goodbye with my head held very high. Thank you all, I love you 🤍💚
